hba started life as a syndicate service company and was established in 1995 by Murray Lawrence and Partners. Following a merger hba became a separate entity within Amlin PLC until the management buyout in 2001.

Today, hba trades as an independent broker and Lloyd’s Coverholder, providing expertise in broking and underwriting. Members of hba’s team have worked together for many years.
